Rescue Squad completes storage building addition

The Henderson County Rescue Squad recently completed an addition of a 30' x 50' storage building on Williams Street.  This building was built with funding from the NC Volunteer Rescue & EMS Grant and money raised during the 2008 fundraiser.  By completeing this expansion the Rescue Squad is now able to place more equipment indoors.  Also as part of this project all the lighting at the station was upgraded to more energy efficient lighting.  Additional bays doors were installed in one building enabling personnel to drive through with large trailers limiting the amount of backing that is necessary.
