Rescuers Demonstrate Rescue with The Today Show Henderson County Technical Rescue Team members assisted Rescue Instructors Group in providing public education for flood safety for The Today Show.          
Rescue Squad Personnel Complete Winter Search & Rescue Course March 3rd, 2015
Rescue Squad Members train in Winter Alpine Search & Rescue During the months of January and February, 14 Henderson County Rescue Squad members spent over 600 hours preparing for and participating in several Winter Alpine Search & Rescue (WASAR) classes. These classes were offered through NC Emergency Management and are designed to train back country responders of Search & Rescue emergencies during winter alpine conditions.

Rescue Squad Members train for Dive Recovery Operations Lumberton, NC
6 Dive Team members participated in a 18 hour Public Safety Diver and Tender class this weekend in Lumberton, NC. Divers faced 38 degree water temp. and 19 degree air temps to improve skills to better serve Henderson County.
